Zoom America Data Deletion Instructions

We respect your privacy and provide clear steps to remove your information from all our platforms.

Follow the process below to delete your personal data or request assistance from our support team.

1. Remove Posts and Comments (Optional)

You can delete individual posts, comments, and advertisements directly from the platform. Open the post or comment, select the menu icon, and choose Delete. This immediately hides the item from other members. If you have trouble removing content, include the details in your deletion request email and we will remove it for you.

2. Request Full Account Deletion

To close your account and delete associated data across all our platforms (Zoom America, Joelinks, US School Search), send us an email using the template below. We currently verify deletion requests manually to protect members from unauthorized account removal.

We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, unless law or legitimate business needs require us to retain specific records (for example, for fraud prevention or outstanding invoices).

3. Identity Verification

For your security we may ask you to verify ownership of the account by confirming your email address, responding from the registered email, or providing a one-time verification code. We will never request your password.

4. Third-Party Sign-In Connections

If you created your account using Facebook Login or Google Sign-In, revoke our platforms' access from your provider's settings after we confirm deletion:

  • Facebook: Go to Settings > Security and Login > Apps and Websites, select our platforms (Zoom America, Joelinks, US School Search), and choose Remove.
  • Google: Visit myaccount.google.com/permissions, select our platforms (Zoom America, Joelinks, US School Search), and choose Remove Access.

This ensures our platforms cannot access your profile data from the provider going forward.

5. Data We Retain

Once deletion is complete we remove identifying information from your profile, posts, job applications, school searches, advertisements, messages, and saved settings across all our platforms. We may retain limited records such as transaction logs, payment receipts, or moderation history as required by law, or to enforce our Terms of Service. These records are stored securely and access is restricted.
